windows XP disk damaged

I have been trying to repair a computer and have tried to
load XP from disk several times. Now I'm thinking there
is a limit to how many times I may load because last time
I tried, the setup could not find many files on the CD.
Is there a use limit? How do I go about having my Windows
XP Home Edition disk replaced?

Hi km,

First, try giving your CD/DVD drive a good cleaning, and if that doesn't
solve the problem, perhaps the disk itself needs to be cleaned. Failing
