windows xp desktop

a windows explorer type toolbar appeared on the left side bar of my desktop
and i can't get rid of it. nothing happens when i right click on it. it
ocassionally appears and the only way i have been able to get rid of it is to
do a system restore. it is a nuissance. anyone know how to stop this
toolbar from appearing on my desktop?

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:

It's called the "Common Tasks Bar."

To get rid of it, go to Doug Knox's site, http://www.dougknox.com. On the
left, click Win XP Fixes, then Remove Common Tasks from Desktop.
