Random Explorer Bar on Desktop

Hey there,

I have this random explorer bar on the left side of my screen that I can't
seem to get rid of. Also, on top of this the icons on my desktop can't be
moved either.
Whenever I mouse over or click on a desktop icon, the information of said
icon appears on the left, in the explorer bar, as if I were clicking on the
icon in My Computer or something. This link have a screenshot of what I'm
talking about.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Explorer, Tools menu, Folder Options, General Tab, Put a dot in "Show classic
Windows folders" instead of 'Show common tasks..'

Well, I missed the part about 'on the desktop'.

Create and run this reg file to remove the common tasks bar from your
