Windows XP crashes on exiting from Firefox

I have Firefox 1.5.0.4 running on Win XP Pro SP2. Five times in the
past month I have gotten a blue screen error, which, in part, reads:

RQL not less or equal
Hardware or Software
Stop: 0x0000000A
(0x00009414)
0x00000002
0x00000000
0x804F1406
Dump Physical Memory

It says it's doing this to save my computer (Dell 9150, 2GB Ram) from
damage.

At the time of the crash, I'm exiting Firefox.

When I bring the computer back up, it does its error reporting and
then I get a screen from Microsoft Online Crash Analysis saying the
crash was due to a device driver.

I got the computer in April, and this is the first occurrence of this
error. Firefox has always done well. I haven't installed any new
devices or drivers within the past month that I recall.

Also, when I reopen Firefox for the first time after the crash, my
bookmarks have all disappeared.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but that didn't help.

I'm using Zone Alarm Antivirus/Firewall and Spysweeper, but both were
installed long before this error.

I've asked this question on the Mozillazine forum; they said it wasn't
their problem - that it was a Windows problem.

I've gone back to June of 2003 in this forum and didn't find anything
related.

Any ideas?
