Hi all

I have a problem with windows xp.

First let me tell you this My windows XP home edition service pack 1, came
pre installed so I do not have a windows xp setup disk. I also only have
win 95 on this computer so I can not make the boot disks.

Ok this is my problem. My computer has windows xp home edition service pack
1, It starts to load then when it gets past the logo and thought the
scandisk instead of giving me the users, it displays a blue screen with
white writing on. This screen only stays for a couple of seconds then resets
the computer. This is all it does over and over again! I have tried starting
in all the different modes and it just freezes on some of them.

As I said I do not have the cd and I am running win 95 on this computer so
cannot access recover console or mak the boot floppy disks. I can not buy
xp or 98 cd so need help please!!

Thanks you

M

When WinXP is starting to load, press F8 key and select safe mode. If
that works, uninstall whatever it is that gave you this problem. Also turn
off the stupid 'Reboot on Error' option that Mico$oft sets by default, that
will let you SEE the error code. Also check Event Viewer for clues to
problem.
