Windows XP - Copying folder permissions

I have set up a directory structure for a project and set varying permissions
for different subfolders. I would like to copy this directory structure for
each new project I set up, and to have the permissions remain with the new
copy. Simply "dragging and dropping" the directory structure doesn't copy
the permissions. Is there a way to easily copy these permissions?

Try cut and paste. There is a difference in how permissions are handled
between d/d and c/p.

Thanks, but that didn't work either. Both methods caused the subfolders
(which have different permissions from the parent folder) to inherit the
parent folder permissions. I am able to MOVE the folders, and the
permissions remain, but can't COPY the folders.

You might want to check in at the scripting newsgroups. Something like this
- a repeatable set of instructions and settings - should be right up their
alley.
