Hi,

I tried to fix a connectivity problem which occured at work. The problem is,
the computer is unable to view the other computers in the network, and also
the internet connection is down. "Network cable has been unplugged" message
appears intermittently.

The computer uses DHCP, and ip addresses are assigned correctly when the
computer is logged on. But browsing other computers in the network, and
browsing the internet is not possible.

Can anyone please help me?

Shafiee.

The message means what it says - the network connection is being interrupted
for some reason, most likely a physical problem with the network card, the
cabling, or the switch/hub/router the computer is connected to.
