windows xp compatibility with McAfee

I just upgraded to Windows XP and I keep getting an error
message that the McAfee Security Center is not compatible
with Windows XP. I uninstalled and re-installed the
McAfee Virus Scan Online several times but I keep getting
that message. What's causing this?

The version of McAfee that you are using? Have you checked the McAfee site
to see that your version is compatible with XP?
