Please help me work through the following scenario...
1) Windows XP boots to a desktop picture with nothing else.
2) I do a Ctrl/alt/delete, select NEW TASK, type in WINDOWS.
3) Bootup completes to desktop, and this error msg appears…
" Windows cannot find ‘/idlist,:0:3316,C:\Documents. Make sure that
you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a
file, click the start button, and then click search. "
Also, I find that
/idlist,:0:3316,C:\Documents
appears as an application in the applications tab of the task manager.
What to do? How to fix windows so that it boots all the way?
