Windows XP - Backup/Restore

I rebuilt my laptop.
Prior to my rebuilt, I used XP Backup(Start - All Programs - Accessories -
Systems Tools - Backup ) to backup all data files into another PC on my LAN.
I got a folder(ABC) with READ ONLY and Hidden files, also got backup.

After rebuild my laptop, with the same user id and pwd, ,, I restored all
files with XP Restore utilities.
Everything worked great.

When I tried to open folder ABC, I saw all those files, but when I opened
it, the jpeg pic file open as black screen. The WOrd doc, open and gave me a
message that "I do not have access previlege".

But my userid and pwd before and after rebuilt are the same. Need help. Thx
