windows XP authentication

Hello,

Two security questions concern authentication on Windows XP:

1. Is there a way to save the system key (created with syskey.exe)
elsewhere then a floppy (and my mind), say on a USB token? how
complicated is it if it's possible?

2. Suppose I enforced smart card logon with GPO to a domain member
laptop, can someone who has physical access to that laptop remove that
enforcement and/or logon with my domain user credentials?
