I have a user unable to logon to his laptop with cached credentials. Gets
the "no domain controller available" message. Using XP SP2 on a new Dell
Latitude. Other accounts on the laptop can logon with cached creds. only
this user has a problem. I even deleted his user profile and created a new
one, same symptoms. All users are members of the same domain and all
security settings apply domain wide. Any ideas what is happening?

Check the event logs for clues...you might also put the User Profile Hive
Cleanup utlility/svc on this (free download from MS) and all other
workstations. That may not be relevant, tho.
