It seems my Frontpage 2000 does not work with XP service pack 2. I get an
error at 0x73e6827e about memory not being read. Any ideas?

Download memtest86 and test your RAM. Likely one of the sticks need
replacing.

Control panel, Add Remove Programs, click on FrontPage click remove and then select Repair.

Repair was done a couple of time and the memory is fine. I still cannot get
Frontpage 2000 to work with the XP OS and SP2.

Is FP or IE being blocked in SP2 Security settings
Control Panel - Security Center- Windows Firewall - Exceptions or Advanced

I disabled the SP2 Firewall entirely. Still no luck. I have a hardware
firewall as well but that never posed a problem before SP2.

I just install SP2 on Windows XP Home with FP2000, and are having no problems whatsoever, the same
with my Windows XP Pro system with SP2 with Office XP & FP2002 and Office2003 & FP2003.

I connect via cable to a host running Windows 2000 IIS servers and locally to a Windows 2003 server,
all servers running the FP2002 extensions.

Not sure what the server I am connecting to are running but it's most likely
not FP2002. Any other possibilities?

Apparently in the known universe has the answer to this one. The servers are
running NT.
