I'm trying to install winxp 64 to a SATA harddrive, but winxp 64 won't load the sata driver from my driver disk. Instead, it accuse my driver disk that it is corrupted. This disk works fine when I install winxp pro afterward. Just wonder if anyone encountered this problem or know an answer to it.....

You cannot use a 32-bit driver with a 64-bit operating system.
You must get the correct 64-bit version for use with the preview of the
64-bit Windows XP for Extended Systems
(The fact that the same driver is fine on your regular Windows XP proves it
is a 32-bit driver.)
