Windows XP 64 bit edition

I am trying to install Windows XP 64 bit on a system using a serial ATA
controller built into the motherboard. The Bord is using the Intel 82801
FB/FMB Ultra ATA controller. Upon alunching the installation a screen telling
me that my hardware isn't supported and allowing me to continue the
installation comes up. I then have to re-boot and cannot load the Win 64 OS.

Is there a third party driver available to point the Installation to (like
when using third party SCSI dirvers) to allow the installtion to be a success?
Please help.

You need to use the properly decorated drivers for you controller when you
install x64. Using undecorated drivers will allow x64 to install, but you
won't be able to run it.

Check out the x64 newsgroup at microsoft.private.windowsserver_64bit, as
this has been addressed numerous times. There is a username/password, but
you'll need to check out the x64 website to get it (I don't remember what it
is).
