Hi, Im wondering if anyone can help me! Windows XP will not allow me to copy,
delete or paste files? I do not know what is causing this but it has only
recently happened a couple of days ago. I have run all anti virus, spyware
and malware scans and have not picked up anything.

Has anyone got any suggestions what is causing this? and how i could repair
it?

Cheers

Craig

Can you copy and paste in Safe Mode? (Restart and hit F8 continuously while
rebooting)

If not, you could try running a system file check. Go to Start > Run, and
type (or paste in): SFC /SCANNOW

Hi, Iceman I just tried both the methods you suggested and none of them have

Problems with cut and paste are often virus or spyware related. Have you
updated your antivirus and antivirus programs?
