Windows Welcome Screen

We just purchased a new computer & installed Windows XP.
I set up the administrator account first, then set up the
additional accounts on the system. The problem is that
everytime I startup or reboot, it automatically goes to
my account, not the welcome screen. 'Use the Welcome
screen' is checked off as is 'Use Fast User Switching'.
The only time the Welcome screen will come up is when I
log off.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

Click start/run, type "control userpasswords2" and click ok.

Enable the box that requires users to logon with a valid username and
password. Click apply/ok.

Hi Joann,

You need to remove your auto-logon settings either via control
userpasswords2 or TweakUI.

Start - Run the line
control userpasswords2
The top box, 'Users must give a User name' needs to be checked: I think
it has become unchecked and an account set up for autologon
