Windows warning!!!

While surfing the internet I began getting virus warnings. I closed all
programs and ran my virus scanner. After removing several (7) Trojans, which
I had aquired in only a minute or two, I also ran my Ad-Aware as well as
Spybot S&D. I shut down and restarted my computer and now I am getting a blue
Windows Warning "under" my desktop icons. This warning is telling me it has
detected that I have spyware installed on my computer. I opened Internet
Explorer to find that "CoolWeb Search" has taken over as my browser and
everytime it opens I get more virus warnings.
Now I have this blue Windows Warning and a web browser that seemingly
keeps causing me to get virus warnings. I have tried resetting my browser to
default, but it always goes back to the CoolWeb browser. Any idea of how to
get rid of the blue screen and reset my browser? Is it safe to "restore" my
computer back to just before all of this started happening? Any information
will be appreciated!

sounds like you got yourself a hacked browser or something. try deleting the
browser in its root directory and reinstalling IE, or try mozilla firefox, or
you'll end up having hackers viruses and spywayre lose everywhere.

GateKeeper

First, disconnect from the Internet (physically) and turn off System
Restore. Then, restart your computer in Safe Mode, and run both a virus
scan and a spyware scan. Run whatever tools you need to get rid of Trojans,
viruses or spyware/hijackware. Once your computer is clean (and this may
take some work!), restart in Normal mode (still physically disconnected from
the Internet), and turn on the Windows Firewall.

If you don't turn on the Firewall before you reconnect, all the viruses,
worms, and Trojans in the world will invade your computer within minutes
(the first ones will actually apear within seconds).
