Hi

we have one application that does not work in Vista OS. The application
uses MDAC 2.x to connect the sql server and I checked the Vista OS computer
and the windows DAC version is shown 6.0. can you think whether there is a
way to make application run on the Vista OS?

Thank you.

You are much more likely to get help from one of the many Vista newsgroups.
Many of us XP fans are just watching the struggles from the sideline.

Vista-specific newsgroups include:

microsoft.public.windows.vista.general
microsoft.public.windows.vista.administration_account
microsoft.public.windows.vista.hardware_devices
microsoft.public.windows.vista.installation_setup
microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail
microsoft.public.windows.vista.networking_sharing
microsoft.public.windows.vista.performance_maintenance
microsoft.public.windows.vista.print_fax_scan
microsoft.public.windows.vista.security

Thank you. I am still not able to find >

I can not see Vista.
Do you have a link?
Thanks.

microsoft.public.windows.vista.general, like
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general, where you are now, is not really a
web site, but is a newsgroup.

You are participating in this newsgroup by using the awful web
interface to it, and that's the slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone
method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a newsreader, such
as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows XP. See
