Windows Vista Ultimate x64 boot problems

I have installed the new windows vista ultimate x64 on my computer, everythig
went fine and the I installed the media center and a virusscan (McAfee 8.5i
Enterprise). All worked well for a day or two when suddenly the system
would't boot any more (ather the bootscreen the screen went black), I tried
the repair function on the cd but it didn't solve the problem. I then
reinstalled the pc from scratch but afther a boot or 10 again the same
problem. I checked on the hardware and replaced both harddrive and RAM (to
see if that might be the problem). But still afther reinstalling the system
again the same problem. Afther a few boots (about 10), the system won't boot
any more!! Any ideas on what might be causing the problem??

Thanks for any response,

if you have installed mcafee each time, it is probably your problem.
mcafee is not vista compatible.
try avast or avg(32 bit system only)
