Dual Boot Vista and Vista

W

Wilby964

I purchased a WD Raptor HDD with a faster transfer rate than my current one
(and a new copy of Vista Ultimate X64). I'm intending to use the new system
for gaming (my current Vista Ultimate X64 works fine). I would like to set up
a dual boot on the 2 drives but haven't done this before. I've read several
posts regarding dual boot with XP (and some accompanying problems). Should
this work OK? Any tips for a smooth install?

I've never had any problems. Just create a new partition for your second
copy of Vista and install it to the second partition. After installation a
menu will appear giving you the option to choose the relevant operating
system you wish to use. See:
