Hello there!
Ok so here it goes, I bought my pc with all of the software installed...my
media center has never, as in never worked since I bought it...my computer
techs...ahhh...need i say more? Anyhow, i have restored my system to the
original configurations multiple times. I have tried updating my programs on
a regular basis, tried down;oading updates from the support site and still I
get the message "Media center has stopped working and is shutting down"...I
have not even been able to use this program once...
Anybody have any suggestions? Would really appreciate it!
Thanx!

Hi,

If it never worked, especially after a full format and return to factory
state, then I suggest you exercise the terms of your warranty and return it
for a replacement or full refund.

Sorry to hear that but in the course of experimenting with various
"Media Center" editions of various operating systems Vista's Media
Center is the only one that has actually worked on all the compatible
hardware I have tried it on... but that was from a "Retail" Vista DVD
and not installed by a manufacturer, so if yours has never worked my
guess would have to be that the manufacturer screwed up somewhere. If
that is the case then no matter how many times you redo it all it won't
work.

You might try a search on the manufacturer's website if you haven't done
so already.
