Please help. I am downloading the Windows Vista Beta 64bit. The file is
supposed to be 4.1 Gb but my download manager is continuing to download even
after 4.6Gb. I am using Download Accelerator Pro. How big is this file?? Am I
doing anything wrong.

Huh. Most people have the opposite problem and only get around 14MB. Lucky
you! Just for fun, let it go 'til it's done and check the MD5. Then (unless
cost is an issue) burn the image to a DVD and see what you got.

I dont know when this will stop!!! Cost is not an issue. If its 6 or 7 Gigs,
will it fit on one DVD?

Cheers

A regula DVD holds 4.7GB. A double-layer one holds 8.5GB but you need a
doule-layer burner. If it gets too big, you could strip it out to your
hard-drive with any one of the freeware DAEMON tools.

You don't have to keep it going, but I (and I suspect a few others) am just
curious, is all. I tried to recreate, but alas, I can only download the
correct size file.

Depends on the download site. The Connect site offers a download that would
be that large (by downloading both x86 and x64 image files into the same
folder). This is the default choice but the user can deselect either and
download only one of the editions.

Colin,

I got an email from Microsoft giving me a link to the site. I have dowloaded
and using the 32 bit Vista. Thought Id check out the 64 bit in case it had
more to offer.
