Using Vista Mail and Vista Contacts..
but for some reason, I wanted to import a .csv file of contacts,
into vista mail... according to Microsoft website, just click the import
button, on the toolbar....

Um, there is NO "import button or import menu" on the toolbar,
in vista contacts.

Anyone Please.
TIA

Rich

If you are missing buttons on the Contacts toolbar, then the
folder type for Contacts is incorrect. Try this:
Open Windows Contacts. Right-click somewhere in that
empty white space to the far right. Select Customize This Folder,
click the little triangle, and from the dropdown list select Contacts,
then Apply, OK, then close the Contacts window and open it again.

Right-click on a blank area of the right pane, and select "Customize this
folder".
you should see a Contacts Properties box open..
Under "what kind of folder do you want?"
In the pull-down box, select "Contacts"
OK

You're not talking to anyone from MS here... we're just users like you.

You can easily import your messages & contacts from OE. Just copy the .dbx
and .wab files to the Vista computer, and import them in Windows Mail.

Windows Mail (and Vista) has been out since Jan 2007. WM has not been
updated in that time, and has been replaced with the newer Windows Live
Mail.
