Windows Updates will not install

Hi:

I'm experiencing problems installing Windows Updates.
The updates download fine but will not install. I
receive the following error: The following items failed
to install.
The two which will not install are Microsoft Net
Framework and Movie Maker.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As there might be some problem with the catroot2 folder managed by Windows
Update. Therefore I suggest that you rename the
"C:\Windows\system32\CatRoot2" directory to some other name and retry
downloading the updates from the Windows Update site.
