Windows Updates unregistering RichTx32.ocx

Dean Slindee

I have an Access 2003 application (Access data project: .ade) installed on
my computer running Windows XP.
At my business location, we recently turned on Windows Updates.
Now, whenever a Windows Update runs the Richtx32.ocx utilized by the Access
application becomes unregistered.

So far, I have witnessed 3 Windows Updates on my pc, each followed by the
Richtx32.ocx becoming unregistered.

Should we notify Microsoft that this problem is occurring, or is this
*normal* for Windows Updates?

Any ideas on how to prevent or fix this if this is normal behavior?

Thanks in advance.
