windows update

When trying to scan for updates (manually scan and then
being able to choose updates to install), I am given an
error message 0x8024400A : sorry, we are unable to
continue - please consult the trouble shooter. I can't
find this error code on the trouble-shooter page. How do
I get to downlaod updates??
