I am using windows xp service pack 2. My antivirus is avast and i connect to the internet using bluetooth dunn connection. My windows update is turned on but i can't see the icon in the taskbar. Can anybody help me?
 
I don't have the Windows Update icon on my XP laptop - it only appears when it needs to update.

You can start Windows Update manually by going to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com :) You should be able to download SP3 through it.
