Windows update

My Dell inspiron is 6 months old and I have never been able to get any
updates. I have worked with microsoft via e-mail for 3 months had still do
not have a solution, They say I will have to do an (inplace install) ever
heard of it? Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Hi Judy Berg,

To be honest, if you've worked with Microsoft for 3 months on this and do
not have a solution, you are unlikely to get one here. Your best bet may be
the windows update group (microsoft.public.windowsupdate).

To analyze the issue, it would be best to paste in the most recent failure
entries in the windowsupdate.log file.
