Windows Update

Dear Sir/Madam,

After udsing Windows Update on the internet for the first
time it asked me to download some files, and now it
always knows my operating sysytem etc and download
history when I go to the site. What program is downloaded
to record this information?

That is perfectly normal - the Site has to Scan your
Computer to see what Updates you need - the History is
for your information - the Update Installer is an ActiveX
Control in C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files - don't
remove it or you'll only have to Dowonload it again next
time you go

Thats the thing though, there is no downloaded program
file except Flash Player and I dont know what programs
have been downloaded.
