windows update

hi all
when i try to use windows update, after it checks to see if i have the
latest update software. it then goes away to check for updates for my pc.
i then get the message unable to display page, error 0*80248013.

just lately i have also had some third party software fail to install, ie bt
hub software and sony ericcson k800 mobile phone suite.

any advice would be greatfully recieved

When searching for available updates on the Update site, you see the 0x80248013 error
http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/showarticle.aspx?articleid=11&ln=en&IsMu=False

There is a problem with the WU servers at the moment so you may need to wait awhile
before trying WU again.
