windows update

Help! i cannot install any new windows updates. when i go to the update page
internet explorer will not scan. the page just says done and stops
responding. i do not have this problem on any other web pages. i have tried
everything, from clearing the cache to changing the active x controls. i even
send an error report after it hangs and still dont get any help.

Have you tried the update discussion group in the web interface you are
using, if you think the problem is the recent August security/critical
updates.
