I am having problems with windows XP updater I keep
getting the following error
Error # 0x800B0001 Windows update has encountered an
error and cannot display the requested page

Three possible solutions:-

Click Start., choose Run.
In the Run box, type: regsvr32 softpub.dll

Click OK.

or

Click Start, choose Run.
In the Run box, type: regsvr32 Mssip32.dll

Click OK.

or

Click Start, choose Run.
In the Run box, type: regsvr32 Initpki.dll

Click OK.


If still no joy, post to the WU NG stating what you've already done and what OS
etc
