We have been using the MS Software update Service (critical updates
only) on our domain for some time. When trying to install the Windows
Software Update Service, I have a number of problems getting it to run,
and to this day, have not been successful.
When installing WSUS on a Win2k server that is not on a domain, it
works perfect, however, when I add the machine to the domain, the
problems begin, and I am unable to bring up the admin page to access
it.
I have tried looking for documentation regarding this issue, as I would
assume that 99% of the people using this system would be in the domain
environment, but was unable to find any.
Has anyone managed to resolve the security issues and logon permissions
for ASP.Net and any other permissions issues pertaining to this WSUS
system?
