Event ID 1058 error The format of the specified network name is invalid

I have for several days now been trying to work on resolving this
issue. I dont know what is causing it but its weird.

I installed a WSUS server and created OU'S to correspond to the groups
on the WSUS server, now most of the servers are showing up in the WSUS
groups but there are about 30 of the servers which are virtual servers
that are not taking the correct policies. When I run GPRESULT /Z I
get " The user "-admin" does not have RSOP data." Now Im an
enterprise admin.

Also I know that some of the virtual servers have an issue that if the
SId'S were not deleted and changed correctly the servers will not show
up on the WSUS server groups. I did this to a lot of the server which
fixed the problem but the 30 servers I did the same in did not work.

I check the registry settings on the servers that are not showing up
on the WSUS groups and they show that they are suppossed to get the
patches from the WSUS server and the OU that corresponds to the WSUS
group. they show up on the OU in the Domain but not on the WSUS
groups.

I just find it weird that the server is looking for the GPT.INI file
in another domain controller from an upper level domain.

is there a way to change this on the servers that are experiencing
this issue ?
the two DNS servers im pointing to are the two correct servers.
I removed the server from the domain and added it back twice.
