I am trying to help my niece who has the following problem. She has Windows
XP home and when she logs on to Windows update the computer goes through the
check and as soon as it reaches 100% it disconnects from the internet! She
says that this happens only while she is checking for updates otherwise she
can surf the internet fine!
We have checked for viruses (full system scan) spyware and in Google and
even made sure the clock/date is correct but have not been able to fix this.
Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.
