Windows Update problems.

Hello,

I just did a clean install of Xp Pro on my system
yesterday, and the 1st thing I did was go to the Windows
Update website to download all the critical update
packages.

I am able to access the Windows Update website just fine,
but when it comes to downloading updates, for some reason,
I'm not able to.

I selected all the critical updates needed, and proceeded
to "Install Updates." As usual, I received the AUP, and
accepted it. When the actual download box poped up, it
showed me the updates were going through the list, but
nothing was downloading to my computer. This happened
after a fresh install of XP, and I have a legal copy of
the Operating System.

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Problems with Windows Update should be addressed to the
experts in the Windows Update newsgroup. Many solutions
to Windows Update issues are posted in that newsgroup.
