Windows Update Problem

Hi, I have a big problem - I've installed one of the
updates about 3 weeks ago - since then when i
push "Windows pdate" button (or go there manually) it pops
a page sayin' : "Thank you for being interested in Windows
Update Website. Windows update is a service for Windows
system users. If You want to use Windows Update You have
to have Windows system installed and running." - how
about that? What to do? i can download any new patches
from ther - and as we all know Win is a one big hole which
needs instant updates. HELP ! Maybe You know some websites
that have some new WinXp patches aviable ??
