Windows Update Loop Problem

Today I had to uninstall and then reinstall IE6. Now my system won't recognize and update a specific file from the Windows Update site. File "823559: Security Update for Microsoft Windows".

The system scan tells me I need this file, I download it, it installs successfully, and I am taken to the page that reads, "Installation Complete. The following updates have been successfully installed: 823559: Security Update for Microsoft Windows"

But even after I reboot, whenever I return to the Windows Update page and run a new scan, it tells me I need to download the same file.

Any suggestions?
