Windows Update KB828026

I get this update sent to me every day to install, and I
install it every time, but it never stops coming. Anyone
have any idea? I have Windows 2000 Pro SP 4

This is a Media Player Script commands update. I
currently have version 9.0.0.2980.

If anyone has ANY idea why I keep getting this update,
when it says it is installed, I would LOVE to know why!!!

I have the same problem with KB832483 re MDAC on 2 of my
Win 2k Pro systems. Open the window and close it without
installing again- every day.

I'm out of allocated support, or I latch onto a MS support
tech and rag for awhile. If you haven't used your
allocated support, now would be a good time to start. If
your OS came with your computer, jump on your computer
guys.

The fix for this problem should be live now. If you are still being offered
832483 on a system that does not have MDAC 2.52, 2.53, 2.62, 2.70, 2.71 or
2.80 can you post again with the MDAC version on your machine?

This problem has been raised several times recently. Check these recent
threads for a possible solution.

There was a problem with the way Windows Update detected that this patch had
installed successfully and the fix to this should be published on the 9th
and prevent this update being offered again in error.
