Hi,

suppose Microsoft releases RC2 or anything after RC1 but before final RTM,
will Windows Update try to update RC1 boxes to RC2 state or do we just
reinstall ?

Best Regards,

Apparently there won't be any more public releases of Vistas before RTM.

Thanks.

No. TechBeta is about to receive a new RC1 build for testing but such
interim builds never come down through Windows Update. Interim builds and
milestone builds are considered upgrades, not updates. They are always
downloadable image files. Upgrades are beyond the scope of Windows Update
(hence the clever naming of the website).

There will be no more public releases until Vista Launch in January.
