Windows Update Fails

[RCA]

I get the following Error code when attempting to update
Win XP Home:

"0x800A138F" Error while scanning for Updates on Windows
Update Site

The cause may be:

CAUSE:
Static IP Entries in HOSTS File

RESOLUTION:
Renamed HOSTS File

Does anyone know if this is the problem, and how to
rename the HOSTS File?
