windows update error.

logged in as the local admin on a 2000sp4 box. after
clicking scan now, i keep getting a "Windows Update Error."
error # looks to be 0x800A138F. not having this problem on
any other machine. help!

Of all things check to see if your system date is
correct. ;-)

Check the system time. SSL will not function if the
system time is more than 100 days off.
