The Windows monster update erased all the passwords saved on my
computer somehow and without warning me it was going to do so. Now
when i go to websites, i have to relog in. Which would be ok, though
a bother to lose 1.5 years of passwords, BUT now windows won't
remember the passwords when i enter them. i've tried setting cookies
to make those sites trusted and i've tried reducing security to low
from medium but it still won't save the passwords or settings from
session to session. for instance, if i want to read the new york
times, i will have to type in my password every time i reopen the
browser. while the browser is open it works fines. but after i close
the browser and reopen it a bit later, i have to re-enter the password
again. what is causing this behaviour?
and is there any way to roll back windows updates?
thank you!
