Windows Update Catalog

I have downloaded all the windows updates for XP from
windows catalog and put them onto a c.d. is there any way
i can run the windows update program on other computers
but instead of downloading the updates from the internet,
which is very slow for me, it installs them from the c.d.
with all the updates on? Thanks. Ed.

If you have downloaded the patches, you just need to run them. You do not need to visit Windows Update, except to check for any new updates. And you can "chain" install the hotfixes, so that only one reboot is required (in many cases).
