windows upate screen redraws in main frame

Win2k server
when i get to v4.windows........
the normal screen draws
I click scan for updates and it tells me I need a critical update
I click review and install and the site reinitialises in the body of the
screen
so now I have a frame on the left that says I need an update but in the body
section I have the whole page left frame and all and it scans for updates
The page in the frame now tells me I need an update Iclick on review and
install and the scanning for updates page appears in the body again.
I have removed all components and revisited the page whereupon the WU
component was reinstalled the same problem occured
I did a repair of IE6 no change
I uninstalled IE6 reboo0ted and reinstalled no change

Anyone have an idea on what is happening

Hi,

To re-install IE6, uninstall it, then install IE5 then
upgrade it. Uninstalling and re-installing directly does
not work, I experienced it.
