windows task manager

How do I know which processes I can safely remove in
windows task manager. I have upwards of over 120 or so
proceeses running at any one time. I do have 4 other
users on the same computer, and the CPU usage hits 100%
and the computer locks up. Thanks for the help.

In what operating system?
What has this to do with IE6?

You're not by any chance going to a my.msn.com page? I get 100% CPU usage If
I access my "my.msn.com" and close the browser after. I have to end task on
IE to get use of my computer back as it remains running and uses 100% on the
CPU usage chart in task manager. My solution is to not go to my.msn.com
page. A few others have reported the same problem with no solution.
Just a thought anyway.
