Windows Task Manager

I use my task manager if my screen freezes up. That is not the screen I have
now. The top of the window it says: Windows Task Manager. It has File,
options, view, shut down, and help.

I exit the task manager on the file and it goes away for a short time then
it is back. I have read help and it does not tell me how to turn it off so
it will not come back.

Can anyone tell me how to turn if off?
