Can I network a tablet pc with a wired connection? The wizard only seems to
permit a wireless connection.

Yes, you can. I'd expect every tablet PC to have a built-in wired
Ethernet connection. If it doesn't, you can add a PC card or USB
wired Ethernet adapter.

Go to the Network Connections folder and look for a wired Ethernet
(LAN) connection. If it's there, make sure that it's enabled

What wizard are you running?
