Switch from Wireless to Wired

I am looking for a way to automatically switch from wireless to wired if I
plug in the network cable or to wireless if I unplug the network cable.

I have a Lenovo X41 tablet with an Intel Wireless card and a Broadcom
NetExtreme gig network card. I know that Lenovo has Access Connections, but
it takes alot of overhead and does not work that well.

If anyone has some suggestions, I would appreciate it!

Jack,

Thank you for this suggestion. Do you know of anything in Windows that
would turn off the wireless radio automatically when not in use and turn it
on when I unplug the network cable?

Turning Off the Radio is a Hardware thing.
You can use the Wireless Power Saving but that might result in problems when
you do use the Wireless.
